Our Fortified Glycolic Lotion and Fortified Glycolic Cream both contain 20% Glycolic Acid. This natural acid, derived from sugar cane, has a smaller molecule than other acids, allowing for more effective absorption into the skin. Glycolic acid exfoliates dead skin cells, improving the production of hyaluronic acid, thickening the epidermis, and improving the skin’s ability to retain moisture. This process allows younger, new cells to emerge. Glycolic acid is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, dry skin, and acne. Apply every third night for four weeks; every other night thereafter.
